Dining at the Sun Inn
Whether its soup, a sandwich and real ale that’s required or a three course meal accompanied by a good bottle of wine, we cater for all. The Sun Inn serves home-made food made with good quality fresh ingredients, locally supplied wherever possible. Diners can eat in our dining room, the bar or the lounge.
We serve food throughout the year, and through the day. Our lunch menu is served from 12.00 midday to 2.30pm, 3.00pm on Sundays. Evening meals are available from 6.00pm to 8.30pm. No food Sunday evenings, except Bank Holidays.
We offer a wide range of freshly prepared food. From traditional dishes, steak & ale pie, steaks, gammon, fish & chips, our “old colonial chicken curry” or lamb cutlets with red cabbage marmalade.
We serve traditional Sunday Lunch, two roasts with all the trimmings. Choose 1, 2 or 3 courses.
All our puddings are homemade. Chocolate Brownie with Pistachio Ice Cream is a favourite.
Alongside our regular menu, we have daily specials. We can cater for gluten free and special diets, including nut allergy. Please give us a ring to discuss your requirements.
